Minimum Charges Apply

Often our customers find they only need to move one item or just a few items and call up to request a quote.  All removalists operate on a minumum charge for jobs, which generally applies to anything less than 4 or 5 cubic metres.  A cubic metre is 1m high x 1 m wide x 1m deep. So even if you're trying to move one box, or 1 bed, or 1 cupboard etc, the minimum charge will apply. For most of our removalists, this will start somewhere around $300-$350 and will be adjusted upwards if the pickup or delivery points are in difficult locations. 

Flexibility of Pickup & Delivery

In addition to this - you will have to be extremely flexible to fit into the removalists schedule, as they are unlikely to extend a trip, or go too far out of their way for a very small load. Often the pickup dates and times and delivery dates and times are governed by other customers who have much larger loads on the truck and your pickup and delivery will be slotted in around these other customers.
